as mugenkyo are based in europe, you might have a chance to see them. if you can, go. sooooooo worth it. so much fun. (apologies for the decided lack of eloquence, trying to do many things at once, including understand & explain a server crash.)

08:32 pm - if it's not one thing, it's another....
so after a long, hard day at work, i go to the pub last night. had a good time. relaxed, chatted with [info]dymus, saw some people i hadn't seen in awhile. all good.

arrive back home last night at 10.30ish to a partially smashed bathroom window. no break in, no theft, just glass everywhere, inconvenience, & stress. no idea why - random act of violence or spite on the part of someone who's pissed at me that i don't even know about. thanks to dymus both panes have been replaced with safety glass & i am less stressed.

now, of course, it would appear i'm coming down with a cold. arse.

01:24 pm - bummer
sadly, i have to report that synthetic culture last night at the egg sucked rocks. now, not having a club to go to is *not* the worst thing in the world, but i really actually enjoy going out dancing, so it's extremely annoying when i can't... especially when i've looked forward to it for a month. i really enjoyed the first 2 of these and was expecting more of the same, but it was not to be. the biggest problem was that someone had decided it'd be a good idea to place a large square platform about 8 inches high, in the centre of the main dance floor. sure, you could dance on it, but its presence seriously cut down on useable dance space. then of course, there was no cider again and whilst i don't *need* to drink, if i'm not going to be able to dance when i've gone out for the purpose of dancing, i'd at least like a concillation prize - and really, no cider at an event aimed at goths?? i tried dancing. even managed to get through 4 songs on 2 different floors, but by the last 1 i realised that i was actually bored *whilst* i was dancing, so really there didn't seem to be any point. i barely managed 2 hours before leaving both bored *and* annoyed.
